We offer you the opportunity to become the owner of vines in this beautiful Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation by creating a Viticultural Land Group (GFV).
A LITTLE HISTORY
In 1316, Pope John XXII decided to plant the first vines in the enclosure of his summer residence in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Little by little, the vineyard spread over the hills around the village thanks to his successors and a multitude of small farmers.
A few centuries later, the Châteauneuf winegrowers' union, under the leadership of Baron Le Roy de Boiseaumarie, initiated a policy aimed at promoting the undeniable quality of the wines. It resulted in 1936 in making Châteauneuf-du-Pape the first Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée in France (AOC).
Today, the vineyard extends over approximately 3,200 hectares and includes very varied terroirs (famous rolled pebbles, sand also called Safre, red clay, Urgonian limestone) which highlight the 13 authorized grape varieties.
THE DOMAIN
FARM CHABRAN
In 2001, the sixth generation of a family of winegrowers, I took over the reins of the family estate made up of 9 plots aged between 12 and 120 years old. With the arrival of my son Tristan on the farm, we decided together to perpetuate the traditions of our ancestors. The farm is in its third year of organic conversion and has not used glyphosate since 1999.
Today, we are offering you the opportunity to become the owner of vines in this beautiful Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation by creating a Viticultural Land Group (GFV).
WHY INVEST IN OUR GFV?
- Receive 6 bottles of CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE per year and per share, as long as you are a GFV associate. Without having to pay any money, you will be able to taste our new productions every year.
- For information, the price of a bottle of CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE from the estate is €35 (cellar price), or for 6 bottles, a total value of €210.
- Each year, during the general meeting, the 6 bottles / share will be given to you as well as you will have the right to 10% reduction on all our ranges and you will have the opportunity to meet us around a tasting, a friendly meal, a visit to our cellar and your vines.
